Its a great proof of concept but not much more than that. Notification Center widgets are quite literally non-functional most of the time and the limits of the workflows are illuminated after no more than five minutes. I wanted to like Workflow. I do not.

This app is not for everyone. In fact I would only recommend it for people who are iPhone super users and/or very proficient with computers/tech. That being said, if that describes you, you will love this app. It is not perfect. It does have a lot of limitations. But there is also nothing else like it for IOS. Ive made several workflows from simple to complex. I created a set of workflows to work with ISBN barcodes including one to convert a new ISBN to a used one and vice versa. They are very useful as I work in a college bookstore. PS. to the developers... Please make a barcode generator in addition to the QR generator... Give this app a try and see what you can create!

This app has a lot of potential and Ive made 2-3 Workflows that are very useful to me. However, it can be a frustrating process and I do not share workflows with friends and family because of the apps lack of usability. The app needs: - Better tutorials, help, and/or examples - Copy and paste - A way to play a workflow without having to go into bowels of the app - More bug fixes - Access to more iOS function Obviously, the last bullet is something Apple has to provide, but the lack limits the apps potential nonetheless. --

This app is so much better than the 3.5 stars it currently has. It is truly tragic this appears so undervalued, and rating the app 1 star whilst pinning your personal issues with it on Apple, not the devs is ridiculous. This app allows for an amazing level of interfacing with Apples built in url scheme systems, allowing for real scripting on iOS. If youre not interested in this type of automation, this app is not for you. On the other hand, if you want to do scripting on an iPad or iPhone, this is the app for you. The developers care about the community and are active. There is a ton of support online and especially on Reddit. This is a great app.

Workflows arent as powerful as they seem. Clunky to execute. Should be able to define multiple app extensions, not choose from a list. Poorly designed. The drag and drop interface is miserable to use. Documentation is awful. Slow to update, issues arent fixed, documentation has not been written in years. No way to edit workflows except in the clunky app. No updates in ages. Customer support consists of "oh sorry yeah we know our documentation is nil" For the price of the app, totally incomplete and shoddy.

Have had this app since it came out. Great until it started crashing every time I open it on 6s+

Always learning new things about this app. Its very rewarding to build simple workflows and have them speed up my use of my devices. Hope Workflow comes to Mac!

Recording blood pressure into apple health app is broken.

This app doesnt really do anything that cant be done just as quickly the way youve always done them in the apps that are being used behind the scenes with Workflow. Why write a workflow to perform an action when it takes about the same time to do accomplish your goal without using Workflow? Every workflow in the Gallery can be accomplished just as fast or faster by eliminating Workflow from the equation to begin with. Any workflows that youd build yourself dont really offer anything truly astonishing unless youre using it to execute scripts remotely against another connected device across a network. I simply dont see much worthwhile utility here.

To keep my sanity, every night Id turn off email notifications / badge icons and turn it back on in the morning. Wouldnt it be nice if I can do it with one click? As oppose to Settings > Notifications > scrolling down to email. This app is an "essential" app installed on iPads at Apple stores, and should be able to handle this simple automation, right? Unfortunately not. I wish I had stop by the Apple Store and tried it out before taking the plunge.

I just bought Workflow and Im blown away at how awesome it is. Like Automator for my mobile devices! Ive gone through and set up workflows for all my routine manual tasks. I especially like the options to create a today widget, share extension, and/or app icon for the home screen. Thank you for building such a great app.

Like other reviewers I absolutely love the layout and the interface of this app, it is very simple to understand and looks great. However, as mentioned by others I do not find much practically in the workflows. There are definitely some that I use but I think there is a lot more that can be done with this app. I hope that with updates in the future the workflows branch out and become more versatile, possibly beyond just iOS apps. But for now, Ill leave the review at two stars and just hope an awesome update comes in the near future

This app stinks so bad I wish I had my $3 back. Its a poor knockoff of IFTTT... The workflows I setup stopped working after a few days so I dont even use this anymore.

In most cases, this app saves no time over just going through steps manually. This app has potential, but its got a way to go before it is truly useful. Personally, Im uninstalling it for now.

I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND YHIS APP. THATS ALL. okay, so I LOVE editing videos. I used to have an app that would allow me to save YouTube videos to my camera roll, but it doesnt work anymore. I was so sad, because I could no longer edit videos with stealing other peoples clips from vine and Instagram and stuff. I was on Google looking for apps, and I saw a review on this one. I went on the App Store to get it, but I noticed it was $2.99. I checked the reviews, and saw that they all looked good. I decided to download it. I followed the directions on the review, and before I knew it I could download YouTube videos to my camera roll again! I wish I could rate this app 8329203738292937 stars. THANK YOU SO MUCH FIR EXISTING, WORKFLOW!!

I cant even describe how much I like this app. If you like using shortcut and scripts to make you life on your laptop better, this is it, this is the app that will make your dream come true. Its possibility is endless. Its an app that can let you create 1,000 shortcut all by yourself, on your iPhone, without typing a single line of code/script. It is almost only limited to your imagination.

There is great potential, but the app rarely works on the Apple Watch. The Evernote voice recording program would be great, but it hangs almost all the time. Also the workflows added from the watch gallery always self delete when I open the app on the phone.

I do wish the home screen workflows didnt have to redirect to your web browser, then to the actual app, but whatever. The today widgets work and thats all I use anyway. This app is great.

This app is fantastic. It is the most powerful auto-task app I have ever used. It is the easiest to use besides IFTTT, but it is so much more complicated and better than it in many other ways. Buy this app if you want something like IFTTT but on steroids. The only problem, is it feels left short. There are so many small things that I am left wondering and waiting to find. The ability to turn on airplane mode or settings from the app are missing, and I can guess this may be an OS issue they face. This app is worth 5 stars, and I would give it the worthy review it deserves, but I just need an app to automate a couple things. I need an app that can control these smaller system settings, so I can click a button, the screen turns off, airplane mode goes on and my music starts playing. So simple, and yet limited. I hope the future of this app can bring this, I support the developers, and I cant wait for more.

Easy short cuts for lengthy tasks... Workflow does work in style... I recommend this app to every one.. Hope these features will be included by apple in future iphones
