Am I missing something

Why does this seem the same as creating a macro on my PC (which I was doing 20 years ago) but with a GUI interface. I fail to see what all the excitement expressed in reviews is all about. Mind u most of the reviews looks like something coming out of a marketing dept.
Yes stringing functions together and being able to run repetitively is time consuming, but the capability is something that should be included in the operating system.
